Ariel Ramírez) Alfonsina Storni (1892-1938) was a teacher, journalist and poet who inspired the so famous song “Alfonsina y el Mar” in which her slow suicide is narrated, gradually entering the sea until she finally drowns. This piece is one of the most representative works of Argentine musical culture.
